Transaction Fees
No Commission Fees
NamesGem does not charge any commission or percentage-based fee on your sale. Your only cost on NamesGem is your subscription plan. NamesGem has no direct account or API connection with Escrow.com — once a buyer and seller connect through a listing, they complete the entire transaction independently on escrow.com, outside of our website.
Escrow.com's Own Fees
Buyers and sellers who choose to use Escrow.com to complete their transaction pay Escrow.com's own fee directly to Escrow.com, based on the transaction amount:

Escrow.com fees are typically paid by the buyer but can be split between buyer and seller by agreement. Escrow.com determines and displays the exact fee on its own site, since NamesGem is not involved in that step of the transaction.

NamesGem accepts the following payment methods for Standard/Featured subscription plans:
- Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- PayPal
For Domain/Website Purchases (directly on Escrow.com)
Once you connect off-site on escrow.com, Escrow.com accepts the following payment methods:
- Wire Transfer
- Credit Card (for transactions under $10,000)
- PayPal (for transactions under $10,000)
- ACH (US bank accounts only)
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you can upgrade from Standard to Featured (or downgrade) at any time from your dashboard. The change takes effect on your next billing cycle.
If your subscription isn't renewed, your listings are no longer visible to potential buyers. You'll receive an email notification before your subscription ends, and can resubscribe at any time to make your listings visible again.
No, NamesGem has a transparent pricing model with no hidden fees. Your only cost on NamesGem is your subscription plan — we do not charge any commission or percentage of your sale price. If you use Escrow.com to complete a sale, its fee is paid directly to Escrow.com, separately from NamesGem.
Subscription fees are non-refundable, as they cover the cost of hosting your listings on our marketplace regardless of whether they sell. However, if you experience technical issues with your listing, please contact our support team, and we'll work to resolve the issue.
